Mainely Guitar Week workshops range from Acoustic Blues, Contemporary Acoustic and Folk/Pop to Swing, Bossa & Samba. The program provides instruction in guitar, bottleneck guitar, mandolin, ukulele and voice.
We've crafted an innovative schedule which will enable students to study in-depth, and to explore even more topics through our "elective" offerings in the afternoon.

Download Guitar Intensives - 2010 Schedule Our venue, College of the Atlantic, is as inspiring as our instructors! The "greenest" college in the United States, it's also one of the "bluest." COA is located on the 37-acre campus overlooking Frenchman's Bay. You'll be a a 10-minute walk away from the bustling town of Bar Harbor, and a 5-minute walk from the entrance to Acadia National Park. Cars are not necessary! A free shuttle service, the Island Explorer, offers multiple routes that travel frequently through to all towns on Mt. Desert Island and through Acadia National Park! The Island Explorer stops on campus, and has bicycle racks if you'd like to take advantage of the many carriage roads in Acadia. With our enrollment capped at 50 students, an ppproximate 7:1 faculty-student ratio, and maximum class size of 12, we are offer ersonalized instruction and an intimate environment.
